R in the NY Times!

There's a very nice write-up on the history of R in today's NY Times. The article pays particular tribute to co-creators Robert Gentleman and Ross Ihaka, and includes a ridiculous-sounding quote from Anne Miley, director of technology product marketing for SAS, saying, "we have customers who build engines for aircraft [sic]. I am happy they are not using freeware when I get on a jet." Wow! She really doesn't get it, does she?
