Myself and my mentor, Aaron Cohen, will be participating in this year's BioCreative Protein-Protein Interaction (PPI) article classification challenge task. The task challenge is to develop a web-deployable system for classifying articles based on whether they contain PPI information that will be useful for database curation. The task is not unlike Aaron and I's previous work on automated work-prioritization for Drug Effectiveness Systematic Reviews, so I'm excited to extend some of our previously-developed algorithms into new territory.
